Logos and Cover Images are essential for portraying brands, products, services, etc.

For highly visual people, the right Logo and Cover image could make someone ultimately choose your Listing.

All Listings include a built-in contact form so people can quickly contact Listing owners.

The email address used when signing up for the platform will be the default recipient address, which can be changed at any time using this link.

Listings can be rated by different criteria, depending on the type of Listing, helping Listing owners build their reputation by accumulating positive feedback.

Reviews are always moderated, can only be submitted by registered users, and Listing owners cannot review their own Listings.

Listing owners can have their addresses shown for quick reference and on a map, providing quick access to directions for users.

Our platform provides valuable and easy-to-digest Listing analytics.

    • Published Listings: ‘Active’ Listings currently on our platform.
    • Pending Listings: Listings waiting to be approved by our team.
    • Active Promotions: Listings that have been promoted.
    • Views (Unique): Logged when a ‘unique’ visitor has viewed a Listing, as determined by their unique IP address.
    • Views: Logged if the ‘unique’ visitor looks at your Listing again.

Communicate with other Listing owners on our platform using privacy-focused ‘Direct Messaging.’

To start a conversation or reply, click the messaging icon next to your username in the menu area.

Package #2 - STANDARD

Get every feature included in our Package #1, plus all the features included in this package.

Create up to 2 Listings of any type.

Package #2 level Listings are automatically granted “verified” status on our platform and will display a badge so other members know those Listings mean business.

To help people easily reach Listing owners and to help get Listings found in search engines, NAP (Name, Address, and Phone Number) is critical information to include in a Listing.

While including a Listing Title is assumed, Listings can contain the following information in an actionable format (ex., click-to-call) to make things even more convenient for platform users.

    • Contact Email
    • Phone Number
    • Website
    • Social Networks
    • And more!

Image galleries are ideal for communicating your branding, products, services, etc.

For highly visual individuals, the right gallery images could ultimately make them choose you.

Up to 8 images can be added to an Image Gallery.

Link directly to your website, allowing you to get more exposure and run visitors through your own sales funnel.

Links to Social Networks can be added to Listings, and when a link is added, the name of the network and the corresponding icon are automatically added.

If someone clicks on one of the Social Networks, that network’s website will open in a new browser tab so that users can stay on your Listing.

Videos uploaded to services like YouTube or Vimeo can be easily embedded into a Listing.

Regular YouTube videos (e.g., https://youtu.be/xyz ) and YouTube Shorts (e.g., youtube.com/shorts/xyz) are allowed.

    • Package #2 and Package #3 level Listings appear temporarily on our Home page and other high-traffic pages, giving them greater exposure.
    • Package #2 and Package #3 level Listings will hold their spot on the high-traffic pages for as long as it takes for new, Package #2 and Package #3 level Listings or Promoted Listings to push them out.

Unlock an additional ‘Bonus Gallery’ to further communicate your brand, products, services, etc.

Package #3 level Listings can easily embed Cal.com booking forms by simply pasting the unique identifier portion of their booking form link into their Listing.

If you’re unfamiliar with Cal.com, it’s a premium booking platform that is entirely free for individuals.

TakeAClass offers the Cal.com forever free plan. Any upgrades must be made thru Cal.com not TakeAClass.

What are Promotion Packages?

Listing Promotion packages are purchased separately from your Listing Subscription, and each package carries a different priority level and a different promotion duration.

Listings under this promotional level:

    • Appear on our Home page as a Featured Listing.
    • Remain as a Featured Listing until other Listings with a higher priority level and rating push them out.
    • Appear higher in search results than non-promoted Listings but lower than Sophomore and Senior Promotion Package level Listings.

Listings under this promotional level:

    • Appear on our Home page as a Featured Listing.
    • Remain as a Featured Listing until other Listings with a higher priority level and rating push them out.
    • Appear higher in search results than the Freshman Promotion Package level Listings but lower than Senior Promotion Package level Listings.

Listings under this promotional level:

    • Appear on our Home page as a Featured Listing.
    • Remain as a Featured Listing until other Listings with a higher rating push them out.
    • Appear higher in search results than all other promotional levels.

If a Listing is promoted or is a Senior Package level Listing, the Listing Preview Card will have a special designation next to the business or brand name.

Listing Preview Cards appear in search and strategic locations throughout our platform, offering a quick glimpse into a Listing.

    • Promoted Listings: Designated by a full-color badge.
    • Featured Listings:  Designated by a lighter-colored badge.
    • Non-Promoted/Non-Featured Listings: Designated by not displaying a badge.

What is Booking & Reservations?

Let’s get started here:

1) Create your Cal.com account and reserve your Username. Your Username should be the name of your business. For example: cal.com/[your business name]

5) [Follow the prompts] Add a photo and a brief description.

If you have a class with multiple seats or spots available, you can easily set-up your calendar to accept reservations for multiple students on the same day/same time. See instructions below:

1) Log into your  Cal.com account.

2) On the Event Types page, select the event that you wish to add multiple seats/spots for booking.


3) On the next screen scroll down and select “Advanced”. Once you are at the next screen, scroll down to “Offer Seats” and enter the number of seats/spots available for this class.

Make sure to SAVE your changes.

Congratulations! If you’ve made it this far, you’re ready to start booking students right away!

These are the steps your student will take to book a class from your TakeAClass listing:

1) Students will click onto your “BOOKING” button on our Listing profile when ready to schedule a class or lesson.



2) Students will see all of your class/lesson offerings and make a selection.



3) Their next step will be selecting the best date/time that fits their schedule.


4) On the next prompt they will enter their personal details and pay if this class has a fee.

Upon confirmation, both you and the student will receive a confirmation email with class/lesson details. Below is an example of the confirmation email sent to the student:

Why do my Google Reviews matter for my business?

This feature typically costs $29/month on EmbedSocial, but it’s included in Package #3 – PREMIUM level Listings for only $24/month. Plus, you’ll also receive other fantastic features from TakeAClass to enhance your Listing.

1) Your first step is to SIGN UP for EmbedSocial. (Note: There is no cost for this signup, and you DO NOT need to input any payment information.).

IMPORTANT: Please enter the email address that is associated with your Google account.

2) From that same screen, scroll down to the bottom of the page and in the bottom right corner click onto the Chat widget and ask EmbedSocial to be added to the Master Account of ‘TakeAClass’ (Your message: Please add me to the Master Account of TakeAClass.)

3) Once they confirm that you’ve been added to the TakeAClass Master Account, you’ll be able to use your EmbedReviews Pro account without restrictions by simply refreshing your browser.

4) Once you refresh your browser you will select Sources link on the left side menu.

5) On the next screen click onto the “Add Source” button.

6) On the next screen click onto the “Google Location” button.

7) On the next screen click onto the “Connect Google Account” button.

8) On the next screen SIGN IN to your GOOGLE ACCOUNT and complete the Authentication and 2-Step Verification process.

9) On the next screen 1) CHECK your location 2) Click onto the “Create widget” button.

10) You will see the WIDGET CODE on this page. Please only copy the code that is highlighted in the image below.

Edit your Listing and paste the code into the ‘Google Reviews’ field. Save changes.

Congratulations!  You’ve successfully completed this task! 

Your account lives under the TakeAClass master account. For this reason, you are not able to upgrade this account. However, you can purchase a separate account if you require additional EmbedSocial services.

Display your reviews with these simple steps.
  1. From your EmbedSocial dashboard, click the ‘+’ icon next to the ‘Sources’ menu item.
  2. Choose ‘Google.’
  3. Click ‘Connect Google Account.’
  4. Authenticate with Google using the credentials tied to the account where your Google Reviews are coming from.
  5. After authentication is successful, click ‘Create Widget.’
  6. Copy the unique identifier from the Widget Code, as shown in the image below, highlighted in blue.
  7. Edit your Listing and paste the code into the ‘Google Reviews’ field.
  8. Save changes.
